Backstage Bistro Shadowbox Live

I've been going to Shadowbox Live shows since they moved to their new location on S. High St., and I've never seen a bad performance. The talent both on stage and behind the scenes is incredible. I'm particularly impressed by the new seating arrangement. I don't know how the performers manage to serve tables and then take the stage, but it's always impressive. This is a fantastic organization that I enjoy attending with friends who are already fans, as well as those experiencing it for the first time. Thank you to everyone for all you do, for your contributions to Columbus, and for being who you are! Love you all, Jay Mantle.

We have been visiting Shadowbox shows for over 20 years. We have introduced countless people to the performances and truly believe it is an outstanding organization right here in little old Columbus. This show is great and it was again a great time for the 2 newbie’s we brought with us. The food is great and our guests loved that the food and orders were taken and delivered by the artists on stage. We will continue to come back and see the performers that continue to display their passion and talent for their work. Thanks for a great evening.

Always a pleasure attending Shadowbox Live, and this time we enjoyed the original jukebox musical, Vinyl . Lots of great 80s references, with a plot and platitudes referencing Casablanca . Shadowbox head writer, Jimmy Mak, did a marvelous book and concept for an entertaining return to the 80s experience. As always, a friendly atmosphere from the staff (who are also the performers) in getting us checked in, waiting our tables, and caring for any needs. Excellent food with a wonderful variety.

Shadowbox Live elevated the experience with their Body Language show. It was two hours packed with incredible performances, fantastic music, and plenty of laughs. I attended the show without expecting such a high level of entertainment and enjoyment. The artists were remarkable, and it was a unique experience getting to know them before the performance began. Thank you, Shadowbox Live! I’m now a big fan and will definitely make it a point to visit during my future trips to Columbus. Réservez une table maintenant

We just saw the Body Language show on Saturday and we are still laughing. It was so well done and some of the skits were absolutely hysterical. The show was clever, creative and showcased the amazing talent that we have in Columbus. This place is so much fun and I highly encourage you to go if you haven't already been there. We are lucky to have this theater in Columbus and all of the talented actors, singers, musicians, writers and producers who crank out fantastic productions.

The show was great! Had a really fun time sharing the music of my generation with my wife and son. The band was very good! Only critique is although the drummer was excellent it sounded like he was playing inside a box. Not sure if it's an older electronic set, or sound level were off, but the cymbal crashes were not bright, and you could hardly hear them. All the performers/staff very friendly and fun! Always enjoy a night out at Shadowbox.

We have been visiting Shadowbox for many years and it never fails to provide an incredible experience. We typically go with another couple and enjoy sharing dinner and drinks at our table. The service and food are outstanding, and it's always a blast to have the actors wait on us; we can’t help but cheer for our server. The band is exceptional, and the theatrical performances are consistently entertaining! We can’t wait to return!

Excellent performers great way to support local artistry. Very entertaining and all the performers were so into their act and could tell they love their job. The Flower Power show was excellent! Amazing venue! All the performers were outstanding! They also pull double duty as the servers. Food was on the higher price but our portion was huge.We are definitely going back!

Just saw the show Body Language .Very funny and better than SNL sketches. To top it off, the music band and singers were awesome. Definitely check it out, you will be very impressed!
