We looked forward to dinner at Badmaash in part because of a great restaurant review and in part because we love Indian food. I was disappointed for several reasons. There were only four tables of patrons in the restaurant (none outside) but after taking a drink order, the waiter pretty much abandoned us for the next minutes. Not sure where he went, but when he returned to the dining area, we had to flag him down to place an order. I know that good Indian food is pricey, but the food at Badmaash is wildly overpriced, especially given they do not include but charge extra for adding rice with your meal, etc. The tables are microscopically small and comically so for several people trying to eat a meal with various dishes. And the music was extremely loud, as in head-pounding. I am fine with loud music in proportion to the surroundings but when you can't hear the waiter or your friends at a small table, it's too loud. It's a restaurant, not a nightclub. All this said, the food was good. But given the restaurant setting and the service, it was overpriced.
