Buscamos por Tripadvisor un restaurante que estuviera cerca del hotel y que tuviera buenas opiniones de cocina suiza. Acertamos plenamente. El restaurante tiene una antigüedad de 400 años y está ubicado en un típico chalet suizo. La gran mayoría de mesas estaban ocupadas por suizos lo que es una primera garantía de calidad. Ensaladas, pescados y carnes muy bien cocinados y presentados pero la fondee tiene nota de sobresaliente. We were on a boat trip around Lake Lucerne and decided to get off to investigate Sisikon which turned out to be a very small village . We only found one restaurant in the village so we went in fearing the worst but instead were pleasantly surprised. We had a delicious light lunch of a tomato & mozzarella salad with a beer and basket of bread, it was perfect with soft mozzarella and ripe tasty tomatoes. The waitress seemed very glum and didn't smile which made us feel a bit unwelcome but this was possibly because she didn't speak English and felt uncomfortable. Wir waren an einem verregneten Abend im Bären und haben uns für ein Käsefondue mit Steinpilzen und ein Fleischfondue Chinoise entschieden. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, der Service freundlich, kompetent und sehr aufmerksam.Wir wurden mindestens 5 Mal gefragt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Auch die Weinempfehlung mit einem infiltrierten Pinot Noir aus dem Wallis hat perfekt gepasst.Auch wenn die Einheimischen unter den vielen Asiaten in Unterzahl sind, tut dies der Atmosphäre in diesem rustikalen Restaurant keinen Abbruch! Wir können den Bären ohne Einschränkung empfehlen.

Très bonne fondue suisse pour un prix correct de 23francs! Le cordon bleu est délicieux mais un peu cher pour ce que c'est (32 francs). Le personnel est très sympathique! Je conseille fortement ce restaurant typique car difficile de trouver quelque chose de semblable dans les environs d'Interlaken!!!!attention: pensez à réserver! Réservez une table maintenant

We spent 5 nights here. It was one of best of our summer vacation in Europe. The have vey helpful staff. V clean hotel. Location is great of city center yet easy to reach walking or by regular bus. If I come back to interlaken sure it will be my destination

Bären serves good, hearty, Bernese style food (try "Älpler macaroni"). We sat outside, which was quite noisy as the street passes right next to the restaurant but otherwise cosy. Staff was nice and efficient. Recommendable.

Beautiful old restaurant on the edge of the old town. The food was great and authentically Swiss (although I lacked the courage to try the horse meat) Service friendly and efficient. You need to book. Highly recommended

Traditional Swiss food with excellent service and taste is so good, highly recommended , I tried the fondue with alcohol and the hash brown, taste is good!! Réservez une table maintenant

Is very tipical and very warmfull inside this centenary restaurant. Food is fantastic. You should try the Roesti. They have also a nice win list.

Great food, Great service! We loved the Meat and Cheese fondue's! These are essential!! But the best was the Calfs Liver!!!!! Awesome!!
