I have been coming here since they opened in the early eighties. Hell, I even worked here when I was 16 years old.I am pretty sure I just ate my last bagel from this establishment. I ordered an everything bagel with cream cheese, a slice of onion and a slice of tomato.They charged me $8.95. Plus a 3% debit card fee. Over $9 for a cream Cheese bagel is insane. This very combination cost $4 change only 2 years ago. I am so tired of these greedy business owners saying everything is going up .It 's 10% inflation with 100% raise in prices.I 'm sick of it and I will not visit this establishment again. Greedy owners!
This bagel shop has the highest prices around, and they skimp on the fillings. It's truly disappointing. I waited in line for 25 minutes only to see a woman just stroll in, bypassing everyone, and place a large order with no problems because she seemed to know an old staff member who looks like the Crypt Keeper. (She didn't even pre-order; it was a fresh order right when she walked in.) I would recommend staying away from this place completely. I've attached a photo of my overpriced bagel. #ScumBagBagels.
I called to place a pickup order and everything seemed to be fine. I ordered an egg everything bagel with cream cheese and asked for it to be toasted. When I get there my bagel is ready and when i opened it, there was 90% cream cheese and 10% bagel. The bagel was so chewy, it was honestly unappetizing. As i went to take a bite, all the cream cheese would fall out. I love bagels in the morning and decided to give this place a try but I have come out extremely disappointed. Never come back again.
If i could give a one star i would. This is the third time they’ve messed up our breakfast order. They forgot the side of sausage, and gave the wrong bagel. They told us to come back in and they’ll fix it. When we did, they forgot another item on the omelet. When we tried to leave they tried to charge us again! So youre going to charge us double for the one order? After you told us to come back in and get everything fixed? Never coming back again. No one there knows what theyre doing.

I’m a super picky eater, and ever since having covid in Jan 2021, I developed this smell/taste disorder called “parosmia” (where everything smells and tastes rotten) but I been regaining my senses back over the past 2 months I’ve been trying old foods that I used to love. I have to say hands down this was the best egg sandwich I have ever eaten in my life, even before covid! I had 1 egg over medium with ham extra cheese and mayo on a roll and omg!! So good! Def recommend
I've been visiting this restaurant for years, but today will be my last time. They clearly have no idea how to manage their staff. Long lines formed, yet only one person was preparing bagels while around seven other employees just stood around doing nothing. The jalapeño bagel I ordered tasted a day old, and there was only a faint hint of jalapeño flavor. It's disappointing to see this place decline like this.
Horrible establishment. Every time i order from here, the order is always messed up, stopped coming for about a year and its the same thing, service is slow and the food is wrong. I get if its busy but you can't take almost an hour to make everything and still get it wrong. Don't waste your money here because the employees obviously don't care about the quality they put out.
Best Bagels in Islip!! Best breakfast sandwiches with the best sides pickle! Best salads!!! I love the staff! I order EXTRA EXTRA BACON and cheese on a roll toasted.. Where everybody knows my name! Diane the entire staff is friendly, and awesome! Been coming here for two decades! Love my bagel boss!!

This was one of the worst bagels I've ever had. It was overloaded with cream cheese, and the cream cheese itself was terrible. They also got a simple order wrong, which I had to point out. I wouldn't try this place again.
The bagels here are top notch. I'm very lucky to live near a REAL bagel shop. Dunkin is a joke with their baked bread rings. Go to Bagel Boss and grab a sandwich while you're there.
