we went to this restaurant. the woman who sat us, understood only French. we waited approx. 15 min with only 3 tabs occupied...15 max. the owner came and asked what we wanted, there is no English menu, only French). we ordered 1 main course, a beside court of noodles and 1 beer. she brought the beer with me doubtful, and after I started it came back to the table and called us that I only ordered for one person and side. in the last 15 years we have occasionally visited this restaurant, it is really good, although on the expensive side. the woman who is amazing in front of the house and always remembers our family and what we like to drink. she is. a helpful and dedicated host and eating is really good and makes a pleasant change from the local nutrition of cheese, speck and kartoffeln. the only part is that the restaurant opens early for dinner and also closed early (9.30), I think.

we came twice in 2 days, as eating was so excellent and we wanted to taste more dishes from the menu. Don't believe what you've read, the greeting we had was nice and warm. the owner may not be their typical fake. and about the top host, but she is sure friendly and responsive. all the dishes were super delicious and we can not recommend this place enough! no wonder that it is an institution in this small town. call them.

Nice selection of wines, food was quite delicious and staff was lovely. Would dine here again for sure. Had a sampling of several different dishes and all were excellent. Also very fair pricing, especially for what you get.
