My friend and I visited this cafe for a Sunday brunch. We had ordered our coffees and food and we’re having a chat. Whilst waiting for our food, a very loud obnoxious young fella walked in, and then loudly started an argument with a man accusing him of stealing his table. He then proceeded to tell everyone that he worked there and that he knew everyone and this was upsetting all the customers in the cafe because he was so loud and rude. We asked him to pipe down and stop ruining everyone’s morning and he kept on arguing at the top of his lungs with the other gentleman. Stopped in to refuel after walking from Bondi. It wasn't busy as such, a few of the tables were occupied. It seemed strange that the guy behind the counter stopped mid-making a coffee for someone else to take my order. I didn't get the sense that service was particularly under control as it became aware that two customers had only had part of their orders fulfilled in a timely manner (they had to remind the serving staff that they were still waiting). The food was nice, especially the banana bread. Also looking around at other food being served the portions looked pretty generous.
The sandwich I had was perfectly fine and reasonably priced, but the young woman who served me was rather unfriendly and a bit rude, barely even saying ‘thank you’ when I handed her my money! I can appreciate that a waitering job is not easy, but I feel an effort has to be made. I’m sure she isn’t really a rude person, but a welcoming atmosphere is so necessary if you want a customer to come back!
As well as serving up one of the best coffee's in the area, this place also sells fresh San Antonio sourdough breads baked daily. It has become my goto place for simple but tasty breakfast and friendly service all at a very modest price. You can get a bacon with egg roll and coffee for $10.

Tried this bakery cafe recently for breakfast whilst on a holiday in Coogee. A good range of offerings is available as is the range of breads . Coffee was only ok which was disappointing as the footpath tables provide a lovely spot to sit and relax.
Always friendly, personal service. Great coffee and food has that added extra care. Well priced and a wide selection of bakery goods, sit down breakfast and takeaways. A nice change from some of the less personal cafes along the Coogee strip.

I have visited this restaurant a couple of times while in Coogee. The coffee is delicious and the food is both tasty and reasonably priced.
