Warning They serve you stale food possibly unsold food from prior day Not Fresh Our family ordered Combo The chicken was hard and the meat smelled bad. They give you a hard bread with it. When you ask for for a resolution they give you a horrible attitude and do not take responsibility. They are not interested in customers doing the right thing and address this for improvement. Hope one day, they get it! Other choices in the area like Boa Vista and BBQ in Market St are better at food and service.
I have eaten several times, always with friends. I never checked the check in details. Yesterday I realized they are stealing people. The price on the menu is one and the price they charge me is another one. I’m very disappointed. Please check your check. The owners should fix the menu. Their excuse was”the menus prices are wrong “. No way! You are wrong and you are stealing. You can see the price of the salmon on the menu.
I ordered two lemonades and the broiled bacalao. My bill came to $55.73, plus an $8.36 tip. Later, I realized that the tip was already included, but I asked the server if she could put the tip on my card, and she said yes. However, it was already accounted for in the total. In the end, my final bill was $64.09 for one dish that cost $23.00 and two lemonades at $5 each. I won’t be returning.
It’s not my first time at this restaurant and I’ve had my suspicions about this place and when I ordered today it had confirmed it to me I was being lied to about the price. They say one thing in the menu and another in person. If you don’t believe me read the other reviews people have left about this issue I am not the only one. Will not be ordering from here again.

I ordered through Uber eats and while the food came really quick, the taste was not it for me. The rice and pork ribs were bland but the chicken and minimal vegetables were pretty good. Good thing I ordered beans and mixed it with the rice to give some sort of flavor. I would definitely recommend Pulaski BBQ in Newark if you’re looking for good BBQ!

1st time customers. We ordered from Uber Eats ordered BBQ Chicken, beef, pork ribs and sausage with beans and rice, Maduro, and garlic shrimp also tres Leche....the portions amazing for the price the meats juicy!!!! Will be ordering again!!!!
DO NOT GO HERE! They show one price on the menu, but then say the menu is wrong and charge you a higher price! RIP OFF!
