the first time we came to the bambus garden, it was a great look and surprise because it was called a garage earlier (which is even longer than our first visit), so they look at the ones that embodied it. on another platform many reviewers complained about the leaves of trees that have been standing here for several decades. one has the impression of being in the middle of the tropics with the dosenhohen gum and ficus benjamini trees. Here's a short review of my dining experience at Bambus Garten near DUS Airport: The service was adequate although a bit slow. I ordered a beer and opted for the Buffet. Most of the trays were borderline empty, and so I figured they would bring out more food....but they didn't. None of the food was hot, and most of the choices (with the exception of fish) were of the fried variety (i.e. small Spring Rolls, Chicken Nuggets, etc.). This was actually the first Chinese Buffet I ever went to which didn't feature any Rice or Soup. No RICE??? ... in the vicinity of Dusseldorf International Airport, formerly well known Restaurant TREIBHAUS. Because of got to go there rumours I went there twice, early last week and on Easter Sunday, and in broad terms wasn't disappointed, except .... During the week they offered a nice over-average Chinese Buffet at budget prices, reason for the walking distance *working class* flocking-in for lunch, This was said to be beefed-up at weekends, reason for booking *a table for two* for Easter Sunday. But this idea had apparently all the other guests usually also coming during the week as well, resulting in the parking lot and space around being overcrowded Sorry Bambus Garten, this was the reason for...
we were there last week. were immediately pointed out that we could sit anywhere, although we had a reservation at the window. the windows were dirty and the view on all sides - only parking view! the lunch buffet was 1sttd before the end not filled again, there was not only a quantity of choice. chicken bugs and pommes could fit to mcs but not into a porcellan restaurant. a, when I wanted to take an ice, the whole room heeyyy nixxx eis was screamed. also the offer for mongoles or life grill was not much. the waitress became even more unfriendly from there and also fought and entertained loudly with colleagues. we never go back to this. we were invited by well-known to eat in the bambus garden. we did not regret this invitation and were enthusiastic about the environment and the variety of dishes offered at the buffet. they can also be prepared directly fresh. because the restaurant is often well visited, they need to plan some minutes waiting time. at the buffet they can always catch up. it is quickly replenished when individual feedingstuffs are present in smaller quantities. the personal is very friendly. the prices are acceptable in the middle and my guess. the arrival with the car is possible. behind the restaurant is a covered large parking lot.
We have visited this place a few times now. All you can eat buffet for a reasonable price, the hot food is of good quality (certainly better than most restaurants of the same genre), the cold food that the chef heats for you is fantastic! I'm not a sushi fan but its my girlfriends favourite part of the menu there so it can't be bad. The service is as good as a self service place can be and the decor is unusual but nice. Highly recommended for a cheap weekday night meal!
Should you fly from/to Dusseldorf and need a restaurant nearby, this is the place to be. A large choice of meat, fish to be grilled and many prepared dished you can choose from at the buffet. All you can eat in an old greenhouse with a huge living tree inside for under €14 pp (excl. drinks).
