Banana Tree Chelmsford

Ideal place for families, children of all ages welcome. Very good child menu with nice place mat which they could colour in. Food very nice but a little slow, presume that was because they were cooking for 8 in one go. Staff very friendly and could not be more helpful especially when we changed the order half way through. Would recommend this restaurant as a good place to socialise stress free

Visited Banana Tree out of curiosity some months back due to looking for more places with vegan/vegetarian options and was not disappointed. Their menu is about 40% vegan and most meat dishes have a vegan option and the portion sizes are huge. We try and visit at least once a month. The vegan satays are one of my absolute favourite things on the menu.

I went for an early dinner here! The staff were awesome the food even better! I had the vegan pad Thai and it was the best I’ve ever tried! Highly recommend this place

Nice cocktails and chill atmosphere. Rice was a little bit hard but the sweet and sour chicken was good.
