Banana Tree Clapham Junction

After a mediocre dining experience a few years ago, I was pleasantly surprised by both the service and the food upon my recent return to the Battersea branch of Indochinese restaurant Banana Tree. After short wait in the reception area, my friend and I were led to one of the private tables off the main room. As a shared dining hater, I was happy not to be seated at one of the long, communal tables. Both vegos, my friend and I shared the aubergine with caramel sauce for our starter. so good! have lived more than half my life in Southeast Asia and I am so glad to have found very similar aromen near banana tree! must try the amok, the chicken dumpling and the banana tree spice noodle. only what you do is that you feel extremely full of the heavy of the noodles. but it is worth it anyway!

I visited this place to my birthday during the happy hours to have drinks. they have a good choice of drinks that turns out very reasonable during the happy hours. the personal is super friendly and they even gave me a free cupcake, as it was my birthday.

huge and varied menu with a cool industrial feeling. the waiting staff was fast and pleasant and everything we had was delicious when something overpriced! make them the best of lunch specialties there and happy hour for 2:1 cocktails!

beautiful place with one of the best platings and fresh ingredients on cheap trips, optimal hygienic conditions and with a really friendly and professional staff.
