Bangkok Ave - Réservation de table

Great food and the prices were reasonable as well for the food received. My only complaint is that I made this reservation 5 weeks prior through open table. The day before I got an email confirming my reservation, however when we got there they didn’t have it. Not only did they not have it, but they insisted on that they don’t use opentable... very strange since you can still make reservation through it. Someone from the restaurant even came up to me asking if they could take a picture of the reservation through my phone. Needless to say they were able to seat us. But clearly there’s some miscommunication with the manager and marketing/owner regarding opentable.

I was already in the course of the year in Thai restaurants, and almost all of them offered penang curry. but bangkok avenue was the first I had ever seen to offer penang curry with short ribs. it was listed as a cooking speciality, so I ordered it. the curry was good, the short ribs were good. the combination did not seem optimal: from now on it is back to order the curry with huhn. Overall, the bangkok avenue has met me as a better neighboring Thai restaurant, but nothing top-tier. the half-filled room was lukecious when it should have been.

last time for me. the service was so slow and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at 11:30 o'clock. the food was bad and when you asked for coffee, you have a quizzic look like that? Finally, they asked for hot tee for me and my gassed and was served 2pots cold tee with tee bags. sent back and was not accused. poor and disappointment! dolores cronin

Last time for me. Service was so slow and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant at 11:30. Food was poor and when asked for coffee got a quizzical look like what is that? Finally asked for hot tea for myself and my guest and was served 2pots of cold tea with teabags. Sent back and was not charged. Poor and disappointing! Dolores Cronin Réservez une table maintenant

This place is awesome and the food is great. I would have given 5 stars in all categories but I was double charged. I need to find the time to go in and fix this. I am sure it will get resolved as mistakes happen.

We had Roti green curry, minced larb and lamb shank. All were tasty. Our server Kim was simply good. Strongly recommend.
