we decided on Saturday for the German buffet. the selection of the food was good, no surprises, tasty, but perhaps somewhat overpriced for the amount of choice available. the biggest problem is the place overall is a bit grimmy. the drinks menu and flavor bottles on the table were dirty and sticky, as well as the tablet on which they sat. the decoration is tired and worn. I get that the current owners probably try to get the sentimental value created by the original barb and ernie, but the furniture and the room are done. time to renovate!
What a great experience. Great food. Great variety on the buffet (we went on a Friday night) and there wasn't one I tried that I didn't like no need to add salt or pepper at this place as it's all flavoured great to start with. And to top it off, there were so many choices for dessert that we wished we hadn't eaten so much. Wonderful evening. Will definitely return, but will have to rest my stomach for a month before I stretch it again so yummy I just couldn't stop eating.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Half of our party was late making it to breakfast However; we never felt rushed or as if we were an inconvenience in any way. The food was very good and we all enjoyed ourselves. Will definitely be returning in the future!
it was our first time here, but knew about the place for years! my only disappointment was that we didn't stop here earlier!!! eating was as good as cooking home I would recommend this place to everyone and we will be back in spite of it!!!

Large group and was pleasantly surprised how quickly and accurately our order came to the table. Lots of service for coffee and anything we needed. Excellent brunch menu and amount of food. Highly recommended!
I always have an amazing time every time I have dinner here. The staff is super friendly, and always joke with us, and the food is consistently delicious! I would highly recommend Barb Ernies!

We love this place. It is so down home and the buffet is absoluely yummy more about quality than quantity.
