I visited the Watkinsville location today for the first time in a while, and I was really disappointed. The restaurant was incredibly dirty, and the teenage staff seemed completely untrained. Despite my concerns, we were hungry, so I decided to give it a shot. Unfortunately, the Queso was watery, the chips were overly salty, and the food was just as bad as I anticipated. This will be my last visit to any Barberito's.
I had lunch at this restaurant and unfortunately, the service was quite rude. The food was mediocre, earning a rating of 2, while the atmosphere was also lacking, receiving another score of 2. Overall, the service was the most disappointing aspect, rated at just 1. The price per person was reasonable, ranging from $10 to $20, but I don't think I'll be returning based on this experience.
They were nice but they didn't put chicken on my husband's burrito even though he said he wanted it on there. And they were so messy with making the burritos that we had all kinds of other stuff in the cheese that we definitely didn't want in there. We literally had to deconstruct the food to get stuff out of it. It was a hot mess. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $1–10
