The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely. The roasted chicken was the best I've ever had. The cornbread was delicious, and the biscuits practically melted in my mouth. My boyfriend had the rutabagas, which were outstanding. The potato salad had a bit too much mustard for my liking, but it was still very good. My only issue was that they had a board displaying the Sunday menu, but there was only one handwritten menu. If you couldn't see the board, you only had about two minutes to decide on your order, which was a bit rushed, though the staff was polite about it. The food and staff here are fantastic. I dine here once a week and have never encountered an issue. However, I feel a sense of disappointment regarding the 1-star reviews left by individuals who have never visited this restaurant, just because their friends experienced poor service and attempted to label the establishment as racist. This is especially disheartening considering that management has made significant efforts to address the situation and demonstrate that the service on that particular day was not representative of their standards. It’s truly unfair.

I dine at this lovely restaurant at least once a week. The food and service are consistently excellent, and I always leave satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone who enjoys southern cuisine; the staff makes you feel right at home. The cornbread is always on point, and the baked potato casserole is simply the best! The food was excellent. As for the service, I dined in for lunch, and the price per person was between $10 and $20. I would rate the food, service, and atmosphere all at 4 out of 5. I highly recommend trying the mashed potatoes and cornbread.
