Barclay's American Grille

I am staying at the hotel and work late most nights, so I've been here twice this week. Of the items I've tried not one thing was worth what I paid. The French onion soup was close but the cheese was burnt and the taste permeated throughout the entire bowl. The pork tenderloin was good but the sides were cold. The eggplant is really a plate of melted cheese with a tough sliver of skin-on eggplant. The best things so far are the $2 pints of Miller Lite on Mondays. Because I am here most of the month, I will continue to test the menu in the hopes of finding something that tastes as good as it costs. I'm not holding out much hope. That's too bad because the place has potential. The atmosphere is very nice. Thank goodness I'm on an expense account. I wouldn't want to waste my money on this place.

we often go to barclays and are quite satisfied in the way. but today was terrible. we were there an hour and half an hour and didn't even come to dessert. we waited for our main meal for 1/2 an hour and had no one who checked us once. when we finally got our meal, there was almost no eating on the teller and the fish and chips of my man were dark brown and cooked over. the place was more busy than usual and they should be emphatic. we'll go on, but never again on Valentine's Day, what a disappointment.

Pleasant enough, service satisfactory, we went for a Thanksgiving buffet. Food a little above average, decent variety, average tab/bill for this type of event. Setting and seating are very nice, normal menu usually a bit better.
