Baren - Réserver une table

Nice typical place. We ate the Fondue with bacon and ham and we first were surprised because we didn’t recieved the bacon and ham (only the fondue, the bread and the potatoes) and then we’ve found them inside the fondue... Original and really great idea, we didn’t knew this recipe and it tasted very very good ! I wish i could eat it again right now... For sure I will if I’ll come back !

We were not staying at the hotel but were recommended to have dinner here by our B B. The dining experience was simply delightful. The waiters were friendly, the food was exceptional and the ambience was quintessential Swiss! We had the Baren salad with warm bacon and egg, marinated steak and veal cordon bleu ending with dessert-panna cotta with raspberry sorbet.

We had a lovely meal here sitting outside in the back terrace in the fresh air. The Rosti was delicious. Definitely have it. It’s often served like little hash browns. Here it’s a lovely big Patty almost the size of a plate. We had it with the veal and mushrooms. DELICIOUS

Meals were hearty and served at suitable hours. We were able to have menu explained. I have allergies and they were happy to explain ingredients in dishes to avoid any issues

This was a superb meal with great service. Highly recommend the wine and cream soup with the garlic bread. Total comfort food!
