The hostess needs some definite training—totally devoid of personality, large ring pricing in her nose…front of house is your first impression when arriving in a restaurant, and this young woman was definitely out of her depth (I am a regular who really likes Biergarten, and this host was not their usual level of greeter). On the other hand, our server was outstanding—a young man with a wonderful outgoing personality! Professional and attentive. The food was good, with the caveat that they have changed their oblong pretzel bun on their Chicken Schnitzel sandwich to a round potato bun. Was looking forward to authentic German food but was disappointed. Schnitzel was thin and overcooked. Black forest ham looked like something Safeway had in the cold cut section. The sauce was bland and generic. The menu had a strange variety of dishes that had no ties to German foods. My SO had a weird jalapeno pulled pork dish that was like eating a mix of leftovers with jalapenos added. They ran out of rye bread for the Reuben order. Place was loud and cold with the fans blowing across our table. Service was as cold as the air blowing from the ducts above us. Waitress never smiled.

server great! eat excellent with taking the reuben sandwiches not available. the noise level was loud, but it was good loud. when the music they played was good! the appetizer of the cheese fondue and the ahi tuna were a hit! we were there to celebrate my man birthday! I have the apple strudel and the brotpudding for the table to share! both were delicious!

We were pleasantly surprised by the ambience, food and service. The server was great and very attentive to our needs. After we lived in Germany, we liked the atmosphere. Noise level was low, but it wasn't very crowded when we ate.

We drove down from Portland to eat here with an extended family to end the new year. The food was incredible, the server was nice and we had only a fantastic time together.

Food was delicious. Service was a tad slow but not bad. We enjoy this restaurant and met an out of town friend this time for an enjoyable meal and visit.
