Gotta hand it to Barnaby’s for having an excellent—and original—braided crust that is a big selling point for me. Meat pizzas are good, and feature Barnaby’s tasty and unique sauce. I’m not so into the vibe of the barn interior, but easy to carry out. Don’t miss the unexpected bar and more adult seating on the far side of the restaurant if you do decide to dine in!
I'm not sure what went wrong here. This place used to be fantastic, but today was disappointing. The crust lacked cornmeal and was way too thick. The location in Northbrook is definitely better, even though the owner there isn't great. The breaded mushrooms were burnt, and I can't believe I have to pay for the pizza box. Unbelievable!
Pizza pretty good… exactly like it was 40 years ago… went to one on Caldwell/Peterson…used to go here after basketball games at old Emerson Jr High…same exact interior as Closed Des plaines restaurant Terrible no refill on soda that is outrageous priced 3 bucks for glass Had to take my bud Barb for helping me out today… ️
Pizza was good but delayed due to one person wanting chicken on their pizza — so they delayed the other 3 pizzas. Beer choices weren't that great either. Réservez une table maintenant
A great place for a family night out. Rolled edge thin crust, box cut, cheese and sausage pie. And nowadays, really reasonable pricing.
Fantastic local pizza joint! The pizza is deliciously cheesy and perfectly crispy. There's plenty of seating available for everyone.
So iconic in the 70s, I really don't know what to say. It's the same as it ever was. Great!
