I drove all the way from Debary to check out this restaurant after seeing a Facebook post about its food truck contest win, and it was definitely worth the trip! The live bands were fantastic, and the beef brisket was absolutely delicious. The beans were among the best I've ever tasted. This place has a warm, homey vibe, adorned with local quilts, jams, and raw honey. They also offer a variety of unique spices for sale. The highlight, though, is their signature BBQ sauce—I could have easily polished off a whole bottle! We managed to finish half a bottle in one day, even though the meat didn't really need it. I must mention that my 6-year-old son declared their brownie the best he's ever had,...
I have eaten twice here and both times I had a very favorable experience with great service and great food. Both times I felt that at the moment when I went to the facility I was warmly welcomed, I was treated like family while I was there, and was really thanked for my business on the way out. I had the brisket and cheese omelet, which was not only unique, but delicious for my breakfast experience and I had the three meat plate for my lunch experience. The prices were very reasonable. I'll be back a lot! Both times I went the parking lot was full, but this does not slow my speed of service or my exit of the restaurant after dinner.
I recently visited a new BBQ restaurant in Eustis, and to put it simply: it was awful. If you're looking for a pulled pork sandwich that resembles and tastes like a sloppy joe, then this place might be for you. Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish mine; after just one bite, I felt nauseous. I've tried most BBQ spots in the area, and while I'm no expert, I like to think I have a good palate for barbecue. If you're craving great BBQ, I highly recommend heading to Barnwood BBQ—it's the best option in Lake County.
I've always believed that Barnwood has the best grill, particularly their brisket, and I still haven't found anything better anywhere else. The breakfast they serve in the morning is fantastic! My eggs over medium were cooked to perfection. I also tried the potato and cheese dish, which was excellent. The bacon they offer is the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time. Dan and Elaine have really nailed it at Barnwood. I can't recommend it highly enough—5 stars!!!

Ate lunch there today and everyone was welcoming and smiling. The food was finger licking good.(highly recommend the two meat platter) Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Mrs. Elaine. She's was sweet, caring, and was very professional. She cares about the community and others she serve. This is a place you want to spend your hard working money because you will get it in return. Thank you Barnwood for a great first experience
Had a wonderful breakfast there, as well as a great beef brisket sandwich. A couple weeks later we ordered a brisket meal for 4 as take out for a small party. There was a little confusion with the order upon pick up, but they made sure to straighten things out for us. Great service great food reasonable prices. Coleslaw could use a little work : I found the restaurant very clean tidy. Enjoy eating their food.
A favorite breakfast and lunch spot in downtown Eustis, across from Ferran Park and the Lake Eustis Museum of Art. Today's homemade chili hit the spot, especially with fresh green onions and grated cheese. Wait staff is the best. Pam and Mindy know their customers and will make you feel at home! Do lunch with a friend or feel comfortable going alone, but go!
This place is absolutely out of this world! Ive had a lot of bbq in my day and thier beef brisket sandwich is to die for! will keep an eye out for you guys to be back around my area! Will always go back for more!!

The service here is amazing. The food is even better. The pulled pork sandwich was just fantastic. Get the slaw on the sandwich and you Cant go wrong. The Potato with brisket was Huge and fresh and oh so tasty.
What a great feeling walking into this family restaurant. From breakfast to their bbq, every meal I have had has been great here.
