On Saturday night, the dining experience was excellent, with delicious and affordable portions. I ordered the rainbow trout, which was fantastic. The restaurant itself was beautifully decorated and tasteful. However, the service left much to be desired. We had to ask for the drink menu after our first order, as it was taken away too soon. Despite immediate plate clearing after our meal, we were not offered the dessert menu until we asked for it. Additionally, we had to request our bill and coats. Customers should not have to ask for these things.
The Italian restaurant located in the city center of Glasgow, just a 2-minute walk from Glasgow Central Station, was a decent dining experience. We enjoyed a three-course meal starting with mussels and calamari as appetizers. The mussels were served with a white wine and lemon sauce, while the calamari came with a garlic mayonnaise dip. For our main courses, we both opted for pasta dishes: the spicy nduja sausage mafalde rosse and linguine with king prawns, mussels, and scallops. To finish off the meal, we shared a delicious tiramisu for dessert.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic and the customer service was top-notch, especially from the waiter with blond hair. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and the focaccia with olive oil was delicious. The strawberry whiskey was smooth and just the right amount of sweet. I will definitely be returning!
