Picnic is a hidden gem of a restaurant. The staff were welcoming and efficient, assisting us with our choices and providing helpful information. The vegan food was exceptional, the freshest, best-cooked, and most delicious I have had in the UK. The wine was also excellent and reasonably priced. We enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and casual style of the restaurant. Despite living in Shropshire and Birmingham, we will definitely be returning to Picnic.
Tried Picnic for the first time yesterday. Service was amazing, staff are really friendly and easy to talk to. Nice atmosphere in the place and the food was incredible. Got the baked sweet potato with humus and sun dried tomatoes and it was incredibly tasty! Will definitely be back! Edit: been here again since and the experience was just as good, if not better. The food and service is arguably some of the best in Glasgow. Going again today!
picnic is an absolute gem of a restaurant. we were very welcomed by the friendly and efficient staff. they helped us in the choice and were warm and informative. eating was the best vegan eating I had anywhere in Britain. it is fresh, beautifully cooked and seasoned and really delicious. also the wee was a good and beautiful! we loved the ambiente and the informal style. we will be back even if we live in shropshire and birmingham!
Tea was good, but a bit too sour to my liking, probably due to hibiscus in it, which I try to avoid, but did not question this time. Croissant was not as good as expected. Lidl ones are better. But staff was polite and quick enough, take away was needed to catch a train from High Street. Pleasant interior too. Réservez une table maintenant
I was extremely impressed by this restaurant. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and the flavors were unique and carefully thought out. The wine selection also exceeded my expectations. The service was attentive and very friendly. In general, it was great value for the price and I highly recommend it.
Just had a lovely family breakfast in this little gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious, atmosphere relaxed and comfort. Staff, as always, were delightful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit- often!
Provides a decent vegetarian breakfast experience. Nothing about the food or service, however, was outstanding especially considering the price. Porridge is above average for what we had elsewhere in Glasgow.
