I can't emphasize enough how great this little restaurant in Daly City is. I don't think I'll ever crave galbi anywhere else but here. For around $20, you get a generous portion of the thickest, most tender, and flavorful galbi imaginable. It also comes with a generous serving of japchae, rice, and kimchi. However, the japchae could use a bit more sesame oil or soy sauce. I also tried the kimchi fried rice and bibimbap with added bulgogi. While the portions were large, I wouldn't say those dishes were particularly flavorful. I found that adding extra meat to the kimchi fried rice wasn't worth it; I counted only about four small pieces of bulgogi mixed in. Stick to the galbi when you visit this place.
I totally support mom and pop shops, especially if the food is good. Service: really good and fast. I probably waited 7 mins between ordering and leaving. I got there around 1pm. Food: Really Good! I began to eat before I took the picture but I wanted to make sure folks saw that the ribs are cut. Parking: residential so it's the luck of the draw. Overall: Definitely will drive the 15mins to get here for their food and maybe some snacks too.
The service here is quick, and it's takeout only. Your food is prepared fresh as you order, so it might take up to 15 minutes, but the portions are generous and the flavors are amazing. I particularly love the marinated chicken, and my kids are huge fans of the spare ribs. They offer the typical selections, but don't forget to ask for kimchi—it's absolutely delicious!

Why does this liquor store have to close for a whole hour every day? The food is excellent, but they're always closed whenever I visit. They have several employees, so I don't understand why they can't arrange their lunch breaks to avoid closing. It doesn't make sense for everyone to take their lunch at the same time.
This restaurant is an excellent choice for authentic Korean food at reasonable prices. The beef bulgogi, grilled chicken, and kalbi are all exceptionally tasty, and every dish is served with steamed rice and japchae. Be sure to try the kimchi rice as well; it beautifully complements the entire meal.
For the price, this place offers one of the best KBBQ plates around. I would give it a full five stars, but in the past few months, the portion sizes have gone down while the prices have gone up (whether you want to blame inflation or something else). However, the food still tastes fantastic.
The portions are enormous and the prices are quite reasonable! Bart Grocery is truly a hidden gem in Daly City, and the owner is very friendly as well. My favorite dish is the spicy pork bulgogi, closely followed by the kalbi. If you’re in the area, be sure to pay a visit!

I've ordered from this restaurant multiple times, and the quality of food is excellent for the price. My latest visit was on a Saturday at around 2 PM, and there was no wait at all. We received our meals in under 15 minutes.
The marinade for the Galbi is excellent—not overly sweet. The BBQ chicken and BBQ Galbi plates are the standout dishes here.
