Ok let me start by saying the service was great! The guy taking orders was amazing but the food....They need to start over! The meat was dry or burnt and some pieces were like jerky. It was full of fat, not tender and didn't have a good taste seasoning wise. The bbq sauce is trash and that's putting it mildly. Their chicken was decent but could have been fried longer and the fries were cut small and were either too hard or had sucked up too much grease. I love bbq but this place was very disappointing and a waste of money. Not a good place to eat if you're looking for good or even decent bbq.
I tried this restaurant for the first time as part of a catered lunch at work. The food was individually packaged. I had the pulled pork sandwich, which was fantastic, and it came with fries. The sandwich was delicious, but the fries were a bit soggy, although still tasty. One of my coworkers ordered chicken wings and said they were good. Another coworker had the brisket sandwich, which she mentioned had quite a bit of fat on it. The potato salad was decent, but the beans were not good at all. I think I need to visit the restaurant in person to try more of their offerings.
The barbecue here is incredibly disappointing. It tastes more like it has been boiled rather than cooked on a grill. The person preparing the food is not maintaining proper hygiene; they have long dreadlocks that hang down their back (which is a health code violation) and should be covered when handling food. Their pants are sagging too, which is quite inappropriate. It seems like another black-owned business offering substandard food, which makes it hard for them to stay in business for long. I wouldn't recommend wasting your money here!
I want to support local businesses, but this isn't one I can recommend. I had expected a full slab of ribs, but instead, I received a chopped-up nine-piece serving that was mostly fatty end pieces with very little meat. The four wings I ordered were also dry and lacking in flavor. While I was told it would take 15 minutes for my order, I ended up waiting close to 40 minutes. Overall, my experience was disappointing.

Wow just a little d luck that my client and I ended up there yesterday for lunch. He happen to see it on a TV show, most likely Chicago’s Best, and as we were driving by it we pulled a U-turn and headed on in. The brisket sandwich and the j taco were great.
The staff at this restaurant is extremely unprofessional, especially the owner. The food is mediocre at best and they treat their employees very poorly; moreover, they have an infestation issue. I’ve seen pests and I won’t be returning. Save your money.
Definitely not worth the $19 and change I paid for a link/tip combo. Overly cooked (practically burned) meat, no napkins, no plasticware. Definitely nothing to write home about. Going 5-6 minutes away to Coleman’s is your best bet.
Everything is so unnecessarily spicy! Even the mac n cheese. The meat was dry all around. We had the brisket and ribs. The fries are soggy shoestrings. The bread is white bread. 2 stars just because I feel bad.

This is my favorite item on the menu, it's great with the quarter slab of ribs! Or you could take it home use as side dish with steak. The cheese and j chicken play great off each other.
Seen the restaurant on TV, had to check them out. Wasn't disappointed. The ribs tips and Hot links are very tasty. They have a nice variety of food.
