Basic Bio-Buffet & Restaurant

I have visited the filials of basic bio near the viktulienmarkt, with a bakery in the ground floor and a restaurant above the bio supermarket. we were there for lunch and there was a lot of going on - we decided to eat something down quickly, and were surprised to see several vegan options under the sandwiches and pastries. they all looked quite similar and were cold (even the burger) – I tried a “veganese energy sandwich” that was simple but tasty, and a vegan brownie that was really good. Not too dense, but also not like cake, just a beautiful, sweet brownie texture. the food was therefore in order, but the location of the caffe made the atmosphere quite haunted and unpleasant, with cramped seating and unclean tables. the personal was pleasant, but it was nothing special, just a simple place to go to when shopping in the super market or a simple sandwich to lunch.

really nice and pleasant place with excellent daily lunch menus. all organic ingredients and always something for vegetarians. service excellent, and above: cheap.
