Great local place, bar feel with upscale food..seating I is tight and unless everyone is there they will not seat you, even when they are not crowded ? but the food is very upscale. The Best Oreo cream cheese cake....great corned beef and pastrami. Really nice thoughtful food, this is why you go out to eat. Free coffee, huge beer selection and the game is on tv. A larger bar pool room next door but with a different menu for some weird reason? They never run out of toilet paper. Go, eat enjoy.
This restaurant is fantastic! I am in town for a few weeks and was hoping to find a unique dining experience that I can't find back home in Alberta, Canada. I stopped by tonight to catch some March Madness, but the bar area was closed for a private event so I decided to dine in the restaurant side. The service was excellent, the staff was very friendly, and the burger I ordered was absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning before I leave town.
I was visiting town for just one night, and the hotel front desk recommended Bat 17 to me. The food menu was fantastic, with a great selection. While the draft beer options were limited, they did have a variety of bottles available. I had a wonderful dining experience and enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The bartenders were also really friendly and attentive. I definitely plan on returning soon.
It has not been voted Best Burger, Best Restaurant, Best everything! for no reason! Their food is fresh, home cooked, perfectly seasoned-just phenomenal! This restaurant is the perfect place to catch the Blackhawks games, especially during the playoffs. I now make it a yearly tradition to visit. The food is top-notch and the service is excellent!
The best sandwich in the north shore! Great selection of beers and hot sauces if you are into that kind of a thing. You would love this place. Huge servings.
