to claim fresh cream when there was nothing fresh or real about her vanilla slice, was so disappointing. the baked was shockingly hard and firm. the crippled tasteless and gummy, the cream over and roasted. twice it was asked if we want a coffee in a cup or a cup. the cocosmacaron that came with the coffee was delicious the shop looks great and welcoming, but heartbreakingly disappointed . I am not sure if I am a game to taste the cakes that look really good.
Great little bakery, we stop here for our lunchtime pies and pasties after a morning surf during summer (and sometimes winter when we can get away). The staff are always polite, happy to help, and the pies are tasty. The lemon slices, chocolate brownies and unicorn poo are also quite recommended!
I can highly recommend visiting batehaven bakehouse, the selection of broth, cake, slices, quiche, cake, sandwiches, coffee, tees so much more impress to ensure return. I have often visited the bakehouse in the years they have always maintained high standards with their products their service.
Very limited options for soy/dairy free dietary requirements. Having said that the cakes and savoury baked goods looked absolutely delicious! Almond chai latte and flat white hit the spot after a walk up from Batemans Bay. Réservez une table maintenant
Nice place for a coffee and a cake while sitting in the sun outside the shop. The lady who serves is lovely. The hummingbird round cake was not my favourite cake I purchased but it was fresh.
