Food was delicious and the service was fabulous! Classy venue with a great ambiance and excellent wine list. Special mention to the exceptional Italian waitress that went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was faultless. There were many things you did that contributed to us having such a positive night but the one that stood out the most was in regards to the music. We were seated in the bar area and unbeknown to us, a Salsa theme night was due to start. We had two young children asleep in the pram and you consulted us (multiple times , to ensure that the music wouldn't disturb them. The place is cool and has good vibes. Lunch on Sunday is amazing with the chef serving variety of slow roasted meats and plenty of salad buffet while live music is going on. The staff is very friendly and efficient and during the week can happen to be just a few friends enjoying a meal sit close to a wood fire, love still to be able to find those things. Can't wait to try the new specials coming up. My salmon Saturday night was incredible!!! Definitely a place to stop by.

Stumbled across this absolutely fantastic little gem on the way home from the beach . The meals were absolutely stunning. My lamb shank just melted, the vegetables were perfect and the sauce, well I could have licked the plate . Attention to detail and quality products and produce. Highly recommend this quaint little hotel . Looking forward to our next visit

Amazing food every time! It was nice to be able to all sit around a big table and have a good gossip and all be involved, not many places have big roomy tables where this is an option! The meals were amazing yet again, lovely staff, great that we could split the bill with no hassle. We loved the mulled wine, great on these cold winter nights! Réservez une table maintenant

Had our wedding reception at the Batesford and it was stunning amazing area couldn’t be happier food was delicious you definitely get what you pay for and more all staff were lovely the whole night and Tanya was beautiful host... all our guests had an incredible night loved every moment

10/10 Experience. The quality and presentation of the food were outstanding, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere is classy. I highly recommend the braised lamb shanks they were the best I've ever had. Great wine list too. I will definitely be returning.

Amazing venue the newly renovated moorabool room is truly stunning. The owners tania Kevin are amazing people to deal with throughout our entire experience. 10/10 in every way possible
