Fancy fancy but oh so tasty. All of the food we ate was superb. Yes the servings are small, but that is made up by their incredible flavour. The cheese and tomato starter was super fresh and not too heavy. The seafood pasta was packed with flavour and a little bit of spice. The chicken scallopini was divine, the best I've had. It's not a dish I'd usually describe as refined, but Osteria did it well with a rich velvety sauce. The panna cotta was airy and light, with the smoothest possible consistency, yum! The restaurant itself is tiny, with only sixteen seats. The ambiance is intimate albeit a little stuffy. Overall, the food and wine (Chianti) was top notch.
Add us to the long list of devotees to this beautiful restaurant. Absolutely magnificent experience. The food is proportioned, well thought out and delivered on time and just right. Service is alwayd there but not over the top with foh staff well briefed on food selections and drinks. Cannot fault this establishment. Background music adds to the ambience with everything from Carreras to Asnavore! Some say quant but in reality its a beautifully sized place where excellence is the primary objective. Other restaurant owners could have a meal here and learn hiw its truly done! Thank u will be back.
Osteria Fiorenza is undoubtedly one of the best dining experiences in Geelong. The authentic Italian and Mediterranean cuisine is absolutely exquisite, clearly prepared with love and attention to detail.
