I have a strong craving for the garlic fries at this place. It was recommended to me by a nearby bar, and I am so glad I decided to check it out. I was originally planning to have a juicy steak, but ended up trying the best garlic fries I have ever had. Since I was dining alone, I didn't order too many dishes. The waitress was very friendly and suggested the purple rain cocktail, which was amazing. My partner enjoys the cocktails at Peppertree Lounge, so I am sure she will love the drinks here too. We stumbled upon this restaurant late at night and we are so glad we did! The service was excellent and the food was even better. We tried the spicy chicken wings, which were crispy on the outside and juicy in the middle. The chicken and shrimp were perfectly cooked and so tasty. I highly recommend the crispy BBQ chicken skin on a stick, it was like nothing I've ever had before and so delicious. We also tried the wagyu steak which was absolutely delicious, paired with a side of sake and wine. I can't wait to come back and try the other dishes, like the curry in bread that Kevin highly recommends. This place is a must-try!
The BBQ ribs at this restaurant were thick, meaty, and incredibly juicy. The meat fell off the bone and the overall taste was delicious. The waitress provided excellent service and the atmosphere was pleasant. The price per person for a lunch meal was between $10-20. I would recommend trying the BBQ chicken wings, grilled oysters with garlic butter, and the charcoal grilled wagyu beef. For vegetarians, I highly recommend the vegetarian offerings, including a dedicated menu or section. Overall, a great dining experience.
I absolutely adore this place. I've been a regular for years and they always take care of me. The service is top-notch, the atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is absolutely delicious. Some recommended dishes are the Fried Calamari, Charcoal Grilled Quail Egg Wrapped with Bacon, Chicken Karaage, Baked Oysters with Special Mayo, Yakitori, Malaysian Style Chow Mein, Ramen, and Grilled Oysters with Garlic Butter. I went to a restaurant yesterday, but unfortunately, one member of the staff ruined my dining experience. While on a date, the waiter recognized my companion from a previous visit and started asking intrusive questions about her previous date who had been there with her. This uncomfortable line of questioning completely ruined my meal and made it impossible to enjoy the food, despite it being good. I will not be returning to this restaurant in the future. The food is decent, the service is good but not exceptional, and many of the skewers taste similar. The restaurant only serves Soju-based drinks and some beer. They have a 4% card fee, which was unexpected for us. It would have been useful to have a prominent sign outside the door. Additionally, be careful when looking at your receipt as the suggested tips are calculated based on the total bill amount, not the pre-tax amount like most reputable restaurants.
Food was fairly good, could be a little more seasoned and marinated. Overly priced for the portions and did not offer buffet or all you can eat meat to grill. I probably won't return. This is one of our top choices for a casual meal and excellent beer. I especially enjoy the chicken curry toast dish with a side of grapefruit beer.
