The drinks can be a bit hit or miss here. But the vibes are immaculate as per usual. If you've been to the Patchogue location, Bay Shore's iteration is familiar. Inside is woodsy with open windows letting the light stream in. I went on a Saturday morning and the line was out the door. But as per usual it gave me time to peruse the many flavored latte options they have available. I ended up choosing a seasonal latte consisting of dark chocolate and banana (which is the same as their standard chunky monkey latte but go figure) and was impressed by how b-a-n-a-n-a-s it was. Not much dark chocolate flavor. But keep in mind any of the Bean locations, the flavors can be hit or miss! Some are exact...
The service at this restaurant is usually good despite the long lines, and the specialty drinks are tasty. The store has a good vibe. However, I have to deduct two stars because they consistently do not have classic cold brew available. The signage is confusing as the main menu lists all flavors but the checkmark board is hard to read. I am disappointed that they have flavors like rainbow cookie but not the regular classic flavor. I suggest they offer one specialty cold brew flavor per day and the rest be classic to better understand customer preferences. Overall, they have a great product and staff, but they should make sure they have it available for customers to enjoy.
I recently visited this restaurant and was immediately impressed by the beautiful interior. The atmosphere was perfect with cozy tables, comfortable couches, and TVs displaying fireplaces throughout the space. It was a very inviting and comfortable place to spend some time. The tea and desserts were delicious. I would definitely have a meal on Main Street and then come here for a relaxing time afterwards. Despite there only being one staff member working, they were attentive and constantly cleaning up when not taking orders. The bathrooms were also spotless. A great experience overall.
Central Perk is alive and well. Except now its called Bay Shore Bean coffee house. They have 2 couches in back which reminded me of the show. Great food and love the staff. They are friendly and professional. If you are are looking for something different, this is the place to go. I have already decided to try the Toffee Almond Latte next time. They have Lavender Tea. Just wanted to come and update and say that they do honor the 10% discount! I will say the employees were confused and hadn 't seen it before but the manager was on top of it and gave it to me! They definitely made my morning by letting me know I was super cool for having this check in offer. Pro tip: at this location try the Lauren, it 's a coconut coffee with banana and oat milk! To die for.
Baristas are super friendly. Can feel fast paced and overwhelming when trying to decide what you want to try. If it's your first time there just step to the side and look at their specials. Great for remote work. Music isn't loud. Kaleigh coffee:10/10 Lauren coffee: 05/10 Lemon blueberry slice 07/10 a little dry S'mores cookie 9/10 will satisfy your sweet tooth.
The staff is excellent, the restaurant has a great atmosphere with a wide selection of options. As a non-coffee drinker, I appreciate the variety of tea and other beverage choices available. I have yet to try everything they offer, but so far everything has been delicious.
Always the best drinks and service at the bean. Their coffee, iced coffee and lattes are the best around! They have so many different flavors and specials. Always something new to try.
