What a wonderful place! I had lunch with an old friend here who lives on Staten Island, and this place is a real surprise. Genuine Louisiana cuisine and plenty of it! From the outside the place is not much to look at, but step through the door and you're in New Orleans during Mardi Gras. We were warmly welcomed and the service was consistently excellent. I enjoyed the alligator bites and the jambalaya. A really nice tough was that they brought 2 bottles of hot sauce over to the table, so the heat was up to you. I don't get to Staten Island often but when I do I'll come back to Bayou. Really Excellent!
This has been one of our favorite restaurants on Staten Island. The food is amazing. My husband swears the etoufe is better than in New Orleans. The atmosphere is lovely. We were in the back area and it was cozy and warm. But service was very slow last night. It took a while for our order to be taken and then over 30 minutes for our meal to come some problem with the waiter not putting in the order correctly or on time. The manager was lovely and apologetic and comped us a drink each, which we appreciated. We're very sad to hear it is closing next month.
This is one of my favorite restaurants in Staten Island. And it has been so for over 10 years. The food is always excellent and with nice portions. The restaurant is very accommodating to swapping meal sides. The bar tender is a great person. She makes amazing and unique drinks. Also very personable. High recommend for this restaurant.
Great food in this cornerstone restaurant to the neighborhood with plenty of parking in the immediate area. They have quite an extensive bar for the size that it is but serve great drinks nonetheless. Surf and turf is good and so is everything else on the menu. Make sure to order the cafe friscee salad with pecans and bacon. Enjoy!

The food was amazing the only reason I gave a 4 star rating was 2 of the water glasses were dirty, like fresh lipstick on the rim. One I could let go but 2 was a bit much.
I love this restaurant. They made my husband's birthday extra special. The food never disappoints. The ambiance is fun.
