I?m so happy I decided to wait before writing this review. I placed a short notice order for Super Bowl the week of the event. My order includes menu items and a few special requests. Pleasing a large party can be tough, but with the amount of food and the quality of the food that Bayou Catering delivered, everyone was blown away. My order arrived on time. Every special request was perfectly done and the menu items... WOW! There were so many leftovers that my friends and family continued to reach out to me days after the event to rave about the food. Fast forward to this past weekend when I placed another short notice order for Sunday delivery. This time, my order contained completely differ...
This weekend we hosted a cancer chef in our house and hired David/Bayou Catering. David is AMAZING! I'm from New Orleans and I cooked a lot of cancers. I felt like at home in NOLA, the fresh cancers delivered from Louisiana and cooked in my backyard. He also brought the BEST Gumbo and Jambalaya! His food was as good as the best restaurants in New Orleans!! He even has grilled oysters on site like Drago from home. His wonderful wife helped the event and she made it so memorable and special. We all had such a great time. We will definitely work with them again and make this an annual event!
Ordered Gumbo and cornbread for my husband's surprise 50th party. Was coordinating everything for the party we were having in St Pete from NY where we live. I was very nervous because my husband's family is from Louisiana and has high standards for Gumbo : David and his team did not disappoint. Ordering from afar was simple and they were there for all my questions. Food was ready on time and everyone RAVED about it. Truly knocked it out of the park. Can't wait to order again for our next visit!
We used Bayou catering for our wedding this weekend, the food was ABSOLUTELY amazing. Our guests raved! David was so I wonderful and professional. Even came in and help set up, such a nice guy! Highly recommend the crab stuffed mushrooms and definitely the Mac and cheese-which was a particular hit. All of the food we ordered was delicious and very reasonably priced My husband and I highly recommend this company for catering services. 10/10

Bayou Catering is absolutely amazing. We organized a dinner party for 12 people in St Pete and the food was stellar. Not to be missed include Gouda Mac and Cheese, Chicken Etouffee, Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and Bourbon Bread Pudding. It was hot and ready to eat on Saturday. The owner David was very friendly and the prices were reasonable. Our guests had nothing but compliments about the food. Will be ordered again!
Don't miss the ingenious food in Bayou. Mostly take out, but they have a high-top table if you want to eat. Tina will take care of you. We enjoyed their daily specialties: chicken sausage gum, jerk chicken, taste of their delicious meat loaf and do not miss the homemade brownies. A special thanks to David and Beth, who have a Cajun Shrimp Boil for 30 on site at First Ladies Farm and Sanctuary on 24. Okay. Amazing!
Recently, Bayou had catering at an event I attended. That was the third event I attended. Every time I asked who was watching and when I told Bayou Catering, I was like you, his so good I should have known. From a 100 wedding to a 15 person lunch, everyone was delicious and varied enough for everyone. Great job and I can't wait until they accompany my next event.
I love this place so much. You can subscribe to their weekly emails and get the newest menu- it rotates! The owner is so kind and personable and will set things aside for you. It's wonderful, small batch Cajun food at good prices! My boyfriend and I love stopping here at least once a week. The she crab soup is perfect!
