I arrived a bit late, unaware of their hours, so my options were limited. I managed to select a few items that were still available. When I went to pay, I was surprised to learn they don’t accept credit cards. The owner told me to just pay her next time. I couldn't believe it! What kind of store does that? I will definitely return to settle my bill and make sure to arrive earlier next time for a better selection. What I did get was delicious. It’s a lovely bakery run by a wonderful person! She deserves five stars!
We missed the Dunkin Donuts driveway and pulled up here a few lights down. Serendipity! Very good espresso drinks and delicious donuts, cakes and assorted sweets. Love supporting the local businesses and this is a great pit stop on the way from Washington to Chincoteague. My husband said his jelly doughnut was light and fluffy and packed with delicious homemade jelly.
There are plenty of great dining options in the Cape May area, but I believe there aren't enough reliable donut spots. That's why I wanted to mention the delightful Bakery Mix. They offer a wide variety of unique donut flavors alongside classic glazed options. Plus, they have a selection of delicious danishes and turnovers that are definitely worth trying!
