Beach House Cafe - Réservation de table

We've been to this restaurant several times in the past few years, and the food is a bit hit and miss. We were there for lunch today, and you just can't beat the perfect umbrella tables on their patio, with the waves rolling in just a few feet away..... but must say that $16. for two crab-shrimp cakes that arrived oily from either the deep fryer not at right temperature, or a cook who is inexperienced. The crab cakes were small, and cold in middle and quite oily. The other meal for my spouse was an oyster burger with fries. We've been going to the Beach House for several years and tried to support them through some difficult times. We were there last night and it will be a long time til we return. The menu is odd for a west coast Oceanside location with the best view in QB. The wine list is limited, the food average and the patio could be outstanding if the glass in the barrier was clean. Their website is unfinished and not at all helpful. I really hope they get it together because we would love to make it a regular destination. At this point I would be embarrassed to take visitors there.

We've been there for brunch and dinner and enjoyed both times. Just recently we returned for dinner. I had the "Gourmet Sea Food" and my wife a salad which was very fresh and crisp. My dish was ideal as I'd had a large lunch and this was just right. The sauce was not too rich and there wears a nice selection of sea food. I enjoyed the roasted vegetables and especially the spätzle that was served panfried with butter and garlic. With a great ocean view, we had a very pleasant dinner.

Amazing adventure, second time in 10 years, menus and owner has recently changed. It is now Hungsrian style rather than the best seafood place on the beach front. Most seafood here is steamed mussels and a crab cake. Food was decent, but for che proces We enjoyed Shady's Rest up the road to the west much better, beautiful views and seafood, yum.......Just what we want whrn we visit the south coast of BC. Despite the answering service that says, "OPEN EVERY DAY!", they are closed Tuesdays. We had been looking forward to sitting close to the water with friends, but at the last minute had to go somewhere else. Since they can't get this one important fact straight, we won't try them again.

The meal was below average in quality and quantity for the price we paid. Service was poor because the restaurant was understaffed.We live in Qualicum Beach and like to support local business but will not go back unless major changes are made.

I ordered the gourmet seafood dinner which was most enjoyable. The waiter looked after us well. Best of all was the gorgeous view of the ocean right out our window along with the sound of the waves breaking below.

Beautiful scenery looking over the ocean at Qualicum Beach. Service was good. Food was average got three course meal but servings were small. Pricing was a bit high for the dinner that was served . Réservez une table maintenant

We stopped on here for dinner. We were seated at a nice table and found the food to be excellent and the service very speedy. Reasonable prices too! Good German food. We'll go again!

Overpriced for the quality of food. Beer and wine overpriced as well. View is the only good thing . Would not go there again
