We were attracted to the shop sign that claimed their fish batter was the best in town, so we had to try it - Yes the fish in batter was just beautiful - so light and freshly cooked. We had the flathead and chips with a homemade aioli and it was delicious, crispy chips and very clean oil. We sat at a table out front to enjoy the water views, very pleasant and enjoyable and the shop staff were super friendly. Definitely recommend for fish and chips by the seaside.
Best fish n chips I've had in years... Possibly best in my lifetime. Chips were crunchy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. The fish likewise had a fantastic crisp batter and was melt-in-your-mouth tender. Will definitely revisit any time I'm on...the Sunshine Coast.
We went to Beachview Seafoods for fish and chips. The fish (grilled cod) was OK but nothing special. The chips were terrific although the serving size was way too big for us. If we go again I think we would share an order of chips...between us.

Our first time having fish chips here and we were very impressed. The light coating of batter of the fish was delicious and the potato scallops were great too. We look forward to our next visit.
According to their website, they are open seven days a week. However, when we visited on Thursday night at 5:30 pm, they were closed with no listed opening times on their website.
I had the calamari and my husband had the crumbed fish of the day both were delightful. I would recommend to anyone wanting fresh, tasty, genuine Aussie seafood ;

Excellent cod and chips in a pleasant atmosphere. Pleasant staff and quick service at a most reasonable price. Well worth a visit when in Caloundra.
