Sum Thai on Parklands

I meant some time!!!. It was good to see they were doing dine in again after the lockdown because we had enjoyed take a ways during the lockdown and prior to that we had enjoyed or dine in experiences. Oh dear what happened?...I suppose they had forgotten that dine in customers need to be served. We helped ourselves to a couple of takeaway menus and a wine glass for our byo wine. Several takeaway customers were served and no one came near us. After minutes at least we packed up the bottle of wine and left the restaurant. They weren't exactly rushed off their feet so it was a very disappointing experience from what used to be one of our favourites local restaurants.

Tucked away in a corner of a shopping centre is this small restaurant. It is more like a café than a restaurant, with café style chairs and tables, with people coming and going buying take away food also. Mine Host is an Australian man who...is married to a Thai lady, and he is very pleasant and attentive. The food was very nice with very large serves. The prices were average, and reflected the ambiance of the place. A good place for an informal meal with family and friends.

This is a small takeaway/eat-in place with a cheery, homey vibe, friendly service, and good food. I've never stayed far from their green curry, but everything we've tried has had great flavour, generous portion sizes, and fresh ingredients.

I like the quiet, out of the way location and the food is great. Tables could be a little cleaner and the eat-in area a little tidier. Went at a quiet time and the service was prompt and friendly.

Great Thai restaurant: the food is good, excellent customer service, now with online ordering. Our new favourite when we are in Caloundra.
