Spent a night in Caloundra and ended up having a few drinks at this location. We were having a lovely afternoon until we decided to order a 'snack' and I was told by the friendly chefs to order at the bar. Bar staff told me it was time to order and I questioned what I had been told - got a rude response. Not long later the snacks I asked for arrived at the table and I was promptly and rudely told 'sorry, if you want to pay for them you can have them'. I paid and we enjoyed the garlic bread and spring rolls.An hour later we ordered dinner and after we had eaten my partner, who is an emergency services shift worker who had come shift, went to the bar to order another round of drinks and he was...
Visited on a Thursday Night along with 8 others and overall must say we were all somewhat disappointed. Atmosphere was poor as was the night and food was very ordinary and not cheap as was the bar prices. As a group we visit a different outlet every week and this is one that we will not be Racing Back to visit. Food menu wasn't very exciting at all with none of the usual specials that some look for and whilst on food that to was very ordinary both in regard to portion size and flavours...... Very Average to say the least....
Seniors are well looked after at CBX Caloundra at lunch time with a menu just for us folk! Good variety and at this moment the deal is Two meals for $20. The menu has the meals at the usual price of $13. Some meals come with salad, if you wish to change to vege this will cost $2. We chose the steak, chips, vege and gravy of our choice. The food was well presented on the plate and very much filled us up. The waiting time was minimal. Tables are set up inside and outside. The service was very good!
We had one lunch and two dinners here. Food was very good to excellent. Chicken parma was VG, chicken schnitzel the next day was good but a bit dry notwithstanding a choice of gravies/sauces. The 250gr rump steak was grilled to perfection - nice cut of beef - excellent. The wine list needs a bit of jazzing up but this is Queensland so the wine and food culture is not so strong here. A good selection of beers on tap.Highly recommended if you are following a budget.

We had a family lunch in the bistro and were pleased to see our seniors had their own menu and deals. The menu had plenty of choices and was not expensive, we used the lunch specials.The service was fast and friendly. Every plate was left empty! Always a good sign as to the quality of a meal. We didn't venture into the bar area so not commenting on that part of the establishment, but would definitely recommend the bistro.I would go back anytime.
A very strange place with employees that lacked people skills and people outside conducting what looked like drug deals. Won't be returning, the woman in the gaming area was hostile and the girl behind the main bar was rude in a dark sarcastic way, was not at all welcoming. Patrons sat outside slurring their words and swearing, at 7pm on a Friday. A lot of suspicious looking people with unfriendly staff, left after the first drink.
Wow, hardly enyone here at 7pm Sunday and now we know why.Ordered drinks and were served by an unsmiling, curt, miserable female .wow, never been unfortunate enough to encounter this type of service ever before. Certainly never again. it's called hospitality for a reason, you're supposed to be hospitable .oh also no soap in the gents toilets. Very poor.
This is the only place on the sunshine coast that can cook my steak the way I like it. The staff are fantastic, the meals are so delicious we come here at least once a month minimum. The meals are value for money and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend a visit here.

Had a meal of pie and chips on our first day in Caloundra. Food was great and reasonably priced. Staff are jovial and welcoming. Have been back every afternoon for a few beers and enjoy the vibe-a real pub with real locals
We all quite enjoyed our meals here. Yummy food and excellent staff who even went out of their way to get a candle in my sons desert so we could sing happy birthday. Highly recommend.
