Hi all. I googled “Best Rubin Boston” and got several returns. One return was Bean Town Pastrami on Hanover street. I was in Revere but didn’t mind a 20 minute ride to get a proper Rubin and the word pastrami in in the title so I was excited to try it.Anyways, it took 40 minutes ?of course) but I found a parking spot right out front and thought the stars were aligning for a good Rubin.Didn’t happen.I ordered #3 . It’s the Rubin. Drawn in by the allure of the Reuben sandwich, I decided to try both the traditional version and the Rachel, which are their top two favorites. The hot, freshly made sandwiches are bursting with flavor and are incredibly tasty. The rye bread is wonderfully aromatic, and the corned beef is delightfully tender. However, I found it to be a touch on the salty side.
Hands down best pastrami sandwich ever!!!! Today I had to fast for a procedure. While fasting I was thinking, no fantasizing about this sandwich and pleaded with my husband (who is also a huge fan of them) to take me into Boston for it. I always order an extra one for the next day. This has ruined all other sandwiches for me. Eat here you won’t regret it
We were hangry for sure so understand that anything would have been tasty at this point.But this simple pastrami and cheese sandwich felt like something my dad would prepare when I was a kid and hungry. Needless to say, I LOVED it.I would recommend this to literally anybody who loves the savory taste of pastrami.

Extremely delicious and high quality sandwichWe got the classic Ruben and the rachel and both were perfect. I’ll post photos next time.
Good pastrami and roast beef. A little heavy handed on the condiments so ask for light if you don’t like a lot on your sandwich.
Showed up with 15 minutes before closing time and was rudely told that he was closed so he could clean. Will never visit again.
Great food and great service. Chris and Sean were both awesome and I’ll be back soon for another Thanksgiving sandwich ?
