I picked up 2 iced coffees a couple of weeks ago and interacted with the rudest, most disrespectful baristas i 've ever encountered (a young male . I had just poured a few drops of milk in my iced coffee and was harassed by the barista. The milk cartons were FACING the customers on an open counter. He harassed me that I couldn 't use the milk because the milk was his . I let him know they looked like they were clearly for customers B/c the cartons were facing the customers and they were in the edge of the bar/counter (where I live in San Francisco, this means they are for the public ; To which he responded (rudely with: well the milk is mine and the glass is being cleaned so don 't use them....
I came here to study for an hour or two on a weekday. The place is definitely smaller, but it worked for what I was looking for. I don't think I saw many outlets so beware if you're the type of person that needs a plug. I bought a drink and a pastry can't exactly remember what they were), but it was pretty good! The staff was also friendly and helpful. There's plenty of parking, but I did notice it was pretty full by the time I left ~2pm). I took one star off because it wasn't anything special, but if I'm in the area I may stop by again for a coffee!
The coffee was good. The service was underwhelming. It felt like the staff was part of a clique and I wasn't. To make matters worse, the SUGGESTED tips from the checkout terminal were 20, 22, and 25%. Really?! There was a time when a 15% tip meant someone hustled and was really kind which resulted in great service. In this case, I stood in line to order my own coffee and had to pick it up when someone finished making it. And you EXPECT 20% or more for a tip. NOPE.
I just ordered three iced lattes, and they were completely terrible. I can’t believe something so unpleasant could even be served; it was genuinely disgusting and undrinkable. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this one is well-deserved. All three of us ended up throwing them away after just one sip. Honestly, it was the worst coffee I’ve ever tasted. I’m baffled by how this place has the rating it does. I won’t be coming back.

I found the Signature Coffee to be lacking in flavor, richness, and strength. It seems I may have received a subpar batch. For a place that prides itself on coffee, wine, and chocolates, this coffee did not meet my expectations. Unfortunately, the manager was unhelpful in resolving the issue. I would not recommend this establishment and left feeling disappointed.
The lattes here are excellent, especially when enjoyed in-house, and the staff is very accommodating. The cafe is cozy, but there are outdoor tables available if you prefer to sit outside. The lattes come in lovely dishware, so be sure to return your dishes to their proper bins near the counter when you’re done. Overall, I would rate the food a perfect 5/5.
I recently discovered Bear Coast a couple of weeks ago, and I absolutely love it! The service and atmosphere are fantastic. While it is on the pricier side, I believe the quality is significantly better than that of the nearby coffee shop. Service: 5/5.
I really enjoyed this place! The cortado was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and the staff was friendly. It's an ideal spot to relax and have a great cup of coffee. I highly recommend it!

Great coffee shop on the route to Doheny State Beach. The coffee is quite good, and the muffins are delicious! I'm a fan of this place. Food: 5/5
