This restaurant is content with holiday customers and don't bother to try and get locals to return . We had our lunch there today, I had a beetroot and sweet potato salad. This salad was the most under underwhelming meal I have had in a long time . The cherry tomatoes were chucked in whole , a long with the lump of chicken, the sweet potato was hard to find , the mixed leaf greens consisted of just rocket , no fetta, dressing or walnuts in the dish what's so ever. Coffee was very poor and two out of the three waitresses we dealt with could only be described as rude .
This review is one of the hardest ones I've ever written. Where do I start. The owner Brock and his team run a tight ship. Excellent customer service, as well as food and drink of consistent quality that had me coming back time after time. Amazing coffee using the awarding winning Duckinwilla coffee beans. Freshly squeezed juices are to die for as are the cocktails. If you do one thing with your time in Coogee visit Bell & Anchor
We stopped by for a straightforward breakfast of one bowl of muesli and one of granola with fruit. It must have been a bad day as we were left disappointed. There were just a few pieces of fruit with some milk. We also had one coffee and tap water. The bill was 42 dollars. We were not impressed.
The food was fantastic, the service was friendly and the location opposite Coogee Beach is the best. For those with a gluten intolerance the gluten free bread was one of the best I have ever tried.

If you're looking for a delightful place to have breakfast, look no further. Vibrant atmosphere, good view and yummy food. Will definitely be going back.
Ordered the veggie breakfast. Definitely expected more for $20 - bread was stale. They also charge an extra 2% on all card payments. Won't be going back.
Lovely little cafe, enjoyed an Irish breakfast which was amazing! Coffee's are fantastic and staff really nice and friendly.

We grabbed a takeaway lunch at this restaurant. Two of us are vegan and we found the vegie burgers to be excellent.
Love this place! Friendly staff and great coogee. Choice to sit inside or outside, and right opposite the beach.
