WARNING! NOT RECOMMENDED! DO NOT USE! We were supposed to get married in May of this year and we were slated to use Bella Tahoe but due to the Global Pandemic, COVID-19, we had to postpone. With how things are going, local and state governments (CA) are now mandating us to postpone yet again. Cancelling our wedding twice has been hard enough as is.We notified Candace, the owner to let her know after signing a contract and paying a $3,000.00 deposit. She didn't reply to us for over 5 days, after my persistent follow up. She then replied telling us we were going to have to pay a $500 rescheduling fee! I ordered the French onion soup, cranberry walnut chicken salad, chicken meatloaf, shrimp scampi and the lemon blueberry cake with cream cheese frosting from the weekly special. Let me start by saying that Bella Tahoe Catering went above and beyond. Everything was delicious and prepared with all the love, my personalized note on my chicken wraps really enchanted the experience. Plus they delivered!!!! Who wants to have their amazingly delicious dinner delivered for no extra charge? It’s me, I want that! I highly recommend Bella Tahoe catering!
This restaurant is highly unreliable and provides poor service. I placed an order through GrubHub, received confirmation, drove to the restaurant only to be told that they had not confirmed my order. It was a complete waste of my time. Additionally, they claimed to be closed despite answering the phone and being open past their stated hours. There are many other catering options in Tahoe. Feel free to message me for recommendations.
Candace and her team are some of the hardest working, passionate, and friendly people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Every dish they create is simply incredible. Don't miss out on trying their bakery and all of their amazing desserts! Working with the Bella Tahoe team would be a decision you won't regret.
