This review is about spending the night in Bella 's Bistro which was extremely comfortable, quiet, and private despite the fact that one has to go through the main thoroughfare of the restaurant to access the guest room. While I 'm hardly complaining about this, its more than I 'm delighted the owners trust their guests to wander pass their bakery without reaching in for an eclair or meringue on their way upstairs. Located in a quaint village on Strangford Lough, this small hotel and restaurant offers spotless, beautifully decorated bedrooms, a peaceful bar, and a private walled garden. The excellent value for money is evident, with the friendly owner and chef, Paul, serving up a variety of delicious meals ranging from traditional breakfasts to gourmet fish dishes. Don't miss out on trying his locally bred steaks! This was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays I have had in a long time, and I will definitely be returning in the future.
paul is very nice and welcoming host. we were at two huge not always quiet dogs and we never felt that it was any problem. we spent absolutely fantastic week in very cozy, well equipped rooms with access to the garden. we were pampered with delicious breakfast each morning, and praised in the restaurant was also excellent. we look forward to being back in kircubbin. thank paul and coworkers of anna, marcin, brego and vera
I went for breakfast last Sunday and I felt it was a total rip off. The food was way overpriced and not good at all. I took my sister and brother-in-law out for a breakfast treat, but it turned out to be a nightmare. I don't even know where to start, so I won't. I will just say, do yourself a favor and avoid this place. I was totally disgusted and won't be back, nor will I recommend it.

Stayed 3 nights at Bellas Bistro. Had a comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable stay. Paul the Manager was very friendly and professional throughout our stay. We had a lovely breakfast each morning, which was very scrumptious! I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Paul.
visited bella’s to the day for lunch. was excellent had her delicious mushroom soup with squirting and filling panini with cranberry. was excellent. would also highly recommend the seafood knower. nice cozy accommodation with friendly staff. will definitely be back.
I stayed at Bella's Bistro for 2 nights last week. It was the perfect place to stay while visiting Mount Stewart. The room was spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the service was good. I highly recommend it.
We recently stayed here for two nights and was very impressed. The owner was so helpful and flexible with breakfast times to suit our schedule which was very much appreciated.
