Disheartening Experience for a Family in Need While passing by Bellevue des Alpes with our young son, we were met with a lack of compassion that deeply disappointed us. In dire need of a place for my girlfriend to breastfeed due to the cold at 2000m elevation, we asked the hotel host for a small accommodation in their open restaurant. Shockingly, we were directed to use the restroom for such a personal, nurturing act. This response was both shocking and disheartening. Breastfeeding is a natural, essential care act, and suggesting it be done in a toilet is insensitive and dehumanizing.
