It might look enticing and attractive from outside but once inside you begin missing Mc Donald food which at least, has no pretense. Avoid the Wiener Schnitzel, it tastes like Wienna slumps, damp and hard and even the German dishes are bland and banal. The service is slow, and indifferent, it took 45 minutes to see the dishes on the table and even then they were Luke warm. The prices are reasonable but the whole experience is unpleasant and highly commercial. The salad was definitely not edible

Very popular among locals always a good sign. Reservations are also essential outside the high season. Good selection in the menu. Well prepared. Also a good selection of local wines. Beer brewed locally recommend the land beer.

This restaurant was removed from the street in Ahrweiler and thought we would let it go very pleased. We had a nice, cozy food with a few beers and have completely forgotten how busy the Niderhutstrasse was outside.

Excellent good value food and very good local wines. The restaurant also has a microbrewery (I've had the beers on a previous trip and they're good).

Many high chairs for children and a small area with toys. Very good carving and great beer from own brewery.
