Arrived 6pm, only us, but quickly filled. Difficulty with tightly packed tables and chairs, but quickly sorted. Wonderful food. I had a King prawn main course, excellent, lovely flavours. Disconcerting to a point, two young lads waitering, smartly dressed and efficient, but on asking one of them about a particular dish on the menu it quickly became obvious he could hardly decipher or speak a word of English. But that aside, highly recommend this restaurant.
The restaurant serves fantastic traditional Indian cuisine with attentive and friendly service. The onion bhaji and lamb madras are especially delicious. They also offer a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. Our grandkids enjoyed their meal as well. The average cost per person for dinner is between £20-30. The food and service both receive a rating of 5, while the atmosphere is rated a 4.
For vegetarians, you can request any curry dish to be made suitable for your dietary needs, including specialties that typically contain meat. The staff are very helpful with dietary restrictions, offering multiple alternative dishes that meet your restrictions and preferences. Parking is convenient, with a lot right next to the restaurant that is free in the evenings. You won't miss it!
I ordered a murgh masala, when it came it was almost entirely bones and cartilage with next to no meat. When we rang Bengal Bite they denied the allegation and then lied by doubling down saying thats how they always come . I ordered food for delivery at 5:30, but it didn't arrive until 6:10. The food was cold, poorly packaged, and two of the curries had leaked. The service and food quality were terrible. Delivery service for dinner cost between £10-£20 per person.
Really good curry, probably the best in Devizes actually. Dhansak is really on point! Go in to eat if you can for best experience. Delivery can be slow on a busy night due to small team so collect if you're super hungry.
