we had the afternoon, which was so beautifully presented (with real strawberries on the skornen also:D and had the dog in the afternoon, who loved monty! he got whipped cream, dry cookies, wet dog food and a tennis ball. really nice ground outside with huge chess to play and explore gardens. had a really nice time

Scallops nd chorizo starter was great as was the lamb meal. The burger and fries was really good as was the ravioli. The home made chocolate ice cream was delicious, even better was the honeycomb ice cream and the strawberry gin sorbet. Staff were really attentive and good fun, decaff coffee was delicious
We had a three-day, two-night stay at this restaurant. The staff was lovely, the surroundings were comfortable, and there was a pool and gym available. The menu and food were both good. A comfortable manor house, set in attractively laid out gardens. The estate is surrounded with open fields. There is ample parking and places to sit outside. The food is good, but not outstanding. We had a pleasant 3-course lunch with soft drinks for £40 per person.
