benihana's worst experience ever. a group that shared the table was allowed to blow a football match on their phone, which all the others drink, including the cook and every conversation that the restaurant refused to speak. the food order was completely wrong and hastened. fried reis was hardly fried, everything needed only one minute or two, but the chef was hurried to come to the next table.
The restaurant is very dirty and not well kept. Huge stains on windows, that can be seen from far away. Plates were really dirty. In my party of 4, one plate had “brown stuff” still sticking to it. One toilet was clogged and another was missing coat hooks in the stall. I am surprised that such a dirty and not well kept restaurant is in Short Hills, NJ.
