As i told google. Ben's have they changed. The hot dogs taste better from the food truck and the knish was HORRIBLE. For over 30 years I have eaten in Baldwin, Jericho, Garden city, and Woodbury. I guess this is an end to good tasting food that I would travel for. I get better tasting hot dogs on the hot dog truck based on Hempstead turnpike east meadow by the new Carmax. This is about the Greenvale store on Northern Blvd.
Dear Ben's, I have been going there for decades, but I’ve noticed that their once overflowing sandwiches have become rather underwhelming. It seems to be a reflection of the times, where prices go up but portion sizes go down. Disappointing, to say the least.
Great place to come eat with the family. Although I’m not familiar with if they are actually kosher or just kosher style the food choices are endless and they let you customize your sandwiches. The coleslaw and pickles are on another level as well.
The Service depends on the waiter. Food ranges from fair to good, depending on the night. Not as great as years ago. Sometimes the salmon is overcooked and sometimes not. It varies from visit to visit. Réservez une table maintenant
Usually the food is very good. Unfortunately, they have ruined my favorite sandwich, which is pastrami. For some reason, they're making it differently, which is tasteless and a different color.
Most of the time, the meat sandwiches are really excellent. The service is also very good. Additionally, they include a tasty cole slaw and pickles as a complimentary treat.
Nudelsuppe 10/10 The texture of noodles brought me back to my 1985 trip along the Almalfi coast. I could feel the breeze in my hair with every bite of noods.
Excellent kosher deli Recently redone inside. Still same great food. My favorite is the open Romanian steak with fried onions Réservez une table maintenant
The chicken soup was very good but the corned beef was the best. I highly recommend this place.
