If only we lived closer to Berempah, we'd dine there and get take away regularly. The food is just so incredibly flavoursome and we've only ever had delicious meals there. The staff are lovely and attentive and the decor is quirky and unique. Our only gripe is that on a freezing cold night in June there was no heating on so we left as soon as we finished our meal. Otherwise another wonderful experience.
I have been here before and found some of the dishes a bit 'hit and miss ' but couldn 't remember exactly which dishes we liked and which we didn 't. I had a feeling that some of the pork belly dishes were not to our liking, so ordered a selection of dishes avoiding pork belly. Absolutely everything that came out of the kitchen on this occasion was authentic and delicious.
When we got to the restaurant our booking through The Fork was not in their system. As the restaurant was full they politely apologized and ask if we minded waiting a few minutes across the road at the Bridgeview Hotel which we did. They then called us on my mobile to let us know when the table was ready about 15 minutes)
Customer service is top notch. My party arrived much earlier than appointed time but they managed to get us a table straight away. Service is prompt, food is fresh and full of flavor. We do however find it a little salty for our liking and portions were smaller than expected. Réservez une table maintenant
