This was our first experience at Bernie's Food House. We were very happy. The variety of local beers was exceptional. The service was top notch! We found that the food was not comparable. While we did not try it, Bernie has also developed some in-house cocktails that sound and look brilliant. Kudo is at the bartender and manager. While we enjoyed the atmosphere and our time together as a group it took over an hour for our food order to be taken. He took our drink order and then we waited an hour to order our food. Everyone enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We were not offered dessert which was unfortunate. A suggestion to let guests know exactly what Is in a special that isn't on the menu. Not everyone enjoys refried beans and that's an ingredient people need to be aware of as not everyone enjoys it.
